Strawberry Wine

Strawberry Wine from Mount Bethel is 100% strawberry. We do not add apple, grape, or any other fruit juice as a filler as is commonly done with most products labeled as strawberry wine.    It has a very distinctive yet light strawberry flavor.    If you like strawberries, you will love a bottle of this wine.  

STRAWBERRY WINE CAKE

Strawberry Wine and Banana Nut Bread

Strawberry Wine Strawberry Shortcake

6 pound cakes (I just use the store bought kind)
2 C. Strawberries, Sliced
2 Tbsp. Sugar
4 Tbsp. Mount Bethel Strawberry Wine
Whipped Topping

Combine sliced strawberries and sugar in a bowl (I like to hold back some of the sliced Strawberries for topping). Slightly mash strawberries to make juice. Then add the Mount Bethel Strawberry Wine.  Refrigerate for one hour.

Top each pound cake with Strawberry mixture. Top with whipped cream and then put the remaining sliced strawberries on the top. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

I also like to serve a glass of Mount Bethel Strawberry Wine with this delicious dessert.

**Since you do not cook the Strawberry mixture, the Strawberry wine will retain its alcohol content, so please do not serve this version to children.  All you have to do is substitute orange juice for the Mount Bethel Strawberry wine (or leave it out all together).

Strawberry Wine Spritzer

This is a wonderful drink for a hot day or a midday brunch or Bridal Shower:

One bottle of Strawberry Wine

One bottle (2 liters) of Seltzer Water (I use flavored Canada Dry or Ozarka water)

Mix this in a large punch bowl, place some fruit wedges put in for garnish (sliced strawberries, orange slices, etc…)

Other Options:

You can also prepare this per glass, I just mix it about half and half.  You can adjust to fit your personal tastes.
